London-based artist Mercurial Pearl expresses her love of textures and fascination with composition through collage. What started as arranging bowls of fruit as a child, evolved into composing abstract textures, forms and colors into new dimensions of conceptual chaos.
She finds great freedom in extracting from an image anything that catches her eye and combining it with something completely unrelated.

Mercurial Pearl is a fantastic artist with a gift for both the visual arts and the written word. We were delighted to be able to showcase her collages at The Brick Lane Gallery. Her Liquid Poems publication was also very well received by our visitors, especially at the spoken word afternoon she hosted at the gallery.

COMMISSIONS
Mercurial Pearl is an absolute joy to commission. The two poems and two collage art images she created for Swoonworthy were inspiring and perfectly on-theme. She gets everything turned in promptly, her work is remarkable, and she brings helpful, creative ideas to the table.
